Harmony

"Stop playing before you break something" I said to Jamal as he was messing with one of his friends and he almost fell into the table.

I officially moved in to my house and it's pretty decent.

"Did you eat Harmony" Jamal asked sitting down.

"Yes" I told him taking my phone out.

"Alright I'm gonna call you later" He kissed my forehead.

I looked up raising my eyebrow with my lip curled up.

"Why you looking like that Harmony"

"Because you been act-" I started but just looked at him deciding not to say anything. "Don't forget I have a doctor appointment in the morning"

"Alright I'll call you later"

I sat in my room with Jayla and Kanani. We were eating snacks and watching movies.

"Feels like we haven't been with each other in forever" Jayla said.

"I swear" I agreed.

"So how are you and my brother doing Kanani" I asked her.

"We're doing good" She blushed looking down.

"Awe look how happy you are" I gushed.

"But wassup with you Jayla" Kanani asked her.

"Oh my goodness , let me tell y'all" She got all hyped causing be me to laugh as she sat up.

"Darrian has been putting in work like it was great before but now it's even better"

I laughed shaking my head.

"What about you" They both looked at me.

"I really don't know" I said messing with the covers.

"Talk to us about it" Jayla said proving herself up with her elbow.

"I feel like I'm not good enough for anybody. Like I thought I could see myself with Jay but that obviously didn't turn out and then Jamal been acting all funny and shit"

"How is he acting funny"

"He's so distant lately. Like he won't kiss me on the lips before he leaves. He's acting stingy it's his dick, like he be eating me and shit but won't give me no dick , like nigga what? And I know my pussy not whack he even put it on his mom that I had the best pussy he's ever had" I rambled .

"Baby girl slow down" Jayla said rubbing my back.

"What am I doing wrong" I asked looking down.

"Your not doing anything wrong, it's just the men you are picking don't appreciate you. You need to find a real man and you never know he could be right in front of your eyes and you wouldn't even know it" Kanani said.

I shrugged sighing as I stood up. "I gotta pee" I said walking into the bathroom.

After using it and washing my hands I started walking out but stopped at the mirror looking at my self.

I rubbed my stomach silently saying a prayer asking God to let my pregnancy go good and to let my baby survive.

- I grabbed Karion's hand running into the house as it was pouring rain. We rushed in the house and I quickly shut the door behind us.

"You okay" Karion asked me looking more towards my stomach.

"Yeah I'm good baby, go get changed out of those wet clothes"

He ran up the stairs and I followed behind him. Going into the bathroom I took a quick shower.

Getting out I rubbed lotion on me. Threw my hair in a messy bun and slipped on some jogging pants and a tank top that barely covered my whole stomach.

Grabbing my phone I went down stairs to see Karion watching something on Tv eating his food that we had bought on the way home. 

"You watching good burger" I asked sitting down next to him.

"Yeah" He said focused on the Tv.

The storm outside was getting worse. It started lightning and raining harder.

I pulled out my phone calling Jamal , he's been gone since Karion and I left earlier. Of course he didn't answer.

A loud thunder went off causing Karion and I both to jump a little.

"Scared you huh" I asked him laughing a little.

"Real niggas don't get scared" He said.

"St-" Before I could finish what I was saying , there was another loud thunder and all the lights went out.

"I know the lights did not just go off while I was watching my movie" Karion said sitting up mad.

"Is it just our lights that went out" I asked no one in particular.

Turning the flashlight on my phone on, I walked to the front door opening it seeing that the hall lights were out also.

Quickly closing it, I walked back over to Karion trying to call Jamal again, but there was no answer.

- It's been about three hour since the lights been out. Me and Karion been sitting in the living room telling each other stories. Karion eventually fell asleep.

I looked towards the door as I heard it open and shook my head seeing Jamal walking towards us.

"What's good baby" He said kissing my forehead.

I rolled my eyes fixing Karions blanket then got up walking to the bedroom with Jamal behind me.

I let him go in the room first then closed the door behind me.

"So you gone tell me wassup or you just gone continue to act like I'm a dumb bitch and think I don't know nothing"

"What you talking about Harmony" He said looking at me.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about"

"I really don't" He shrugged and I rolled my eyes.

"Why get in a relationship if you were just gonna cheat"

"I'm not cheating on you" He said taking his shirt off.

"Wanna look me in the eyes and say that" I tilted my head to the side.

"You doing to much man" He shook his head.

"If you didn't want to be with me and your still stuck on your other baby momma then why the fuck would you ask to be in a relationship with me" I yelled clapping my hands together.

"Who the fuck told you I was stuck on her"

"See you really think I'm a dumb bitch" I nodded grabbing my keys , purse and phone.

"Don't hit my line unless it has something to do with our child or Karion" I said about to walk out.

"Harmony wait" He grabbed my hand "I'm sorry, I was just trying to help her"

"Did you sleep with her" I asked him.

"No" He said looking away.

"Did you sleep with her" I said a little louder grabbing his face so he would look me in my eyes.

"Yes" He said after a while looking down.

I let his head go as the tears burned the back of my eyes. I nodded opening the door and left out, he kept calling my name but I ignored him.

The rain was still pouring and I rushed to my car going back to my house.
